Matt was one of my first true friends. I could always count on him for a laugh and a smile even when he was facing so many of his own battles. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed by so many of us. Joe and Mary, i'm so deeply sorry for your loss, you raised an amazing man and friend to so many.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Matt was such a bright light and a real character that I’m glad my boys and I had the pleasure to know. Thanks to your beautiful souls he was able to truly live life in a very short time. Blessings to you and your family.

I rember the first time I met matt in high school a group of our friends were playing hakie sack and out of no were matt shows up with this big smile and said do you like green day laughing I said no he told me it's ok I can work with that ...and ever since that point we were friends....lost in touch with every one a couple years ago and wish I didnt because he was a walking smile
