I spent time with Tom back in the mid 1980's for many years hunting in the Adirondaks. He was a valued and beloved member of our hunting club, Arrowhead. I had worked with his sister Chris and his brother in law Neal for many years. His smile, genuine spirit, passion, and attitude made him a special person to know. We all loved Tom. He was always the first out the door and the last to return, he loved the outdoors, we still talk about him, and have areas named after him on our property (Keenan's Knob). He literally saved several of us from losing our lives one night due to a malfunctioning heater in a cabin we rented back in 1986, he was a special man. I only found out about his passing today, I hope his family have found peace, he will be missed.

Tom we were friends since the first day you walked in class at MCC. I knew we'd be life long friends. I LOVED you the first time we met and will ALWAYS LOVE you. You were my male BFF. I PRAY that you're at PEACE and no one can take the memories that we have. My sincere condolences to your children, Tim, Nicole and Brett and to the rest of your family. I know I will see you again. You will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. R.I.P Tom

Tom will always be remembered for his charitable work with trying to ease the pain and discomfort of other cancer victims by stopping by the hospital and sitting with them. Tom also spoke fairly highly about his Experiences with fishing and hunting in the Webster community.
