Obituary of Beverly B. Freida

Webster: Born April 21, 1937, Died March 1, 2020. Beverly passed peacefully with her family by her side in a room filled with laughter and boundless love. She will always remain our beloved Wife, Mother, Nana, Nana GG, Sister and Aunt. Bev is a stellar example of a life well lived. She found the love of her life, Ronald Freida, as a child and together they created a 64 year legacy of friendship, family and love. Beverly fulfilled her dream of having a large family by raising 6 children who provided her with 16 grandchildren, and soon to be 9 great grandchildren. She was always happiest when surrounded by the chaos and laughter of her loving family. After raising her 6 children, she realized a lifelong dream, she became a nurse. She successfully managed a hectic home life with nursing school and completed her studies as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She truly enjoyed the years she spent using these skills and helping others. Beverly loved music, she comes from a very musical family and had a truly beautiful singing voice. This is a love and talent she passed on to her children. For many years she belonged to a singing group called the Mello Wives, a group that would perform locally. She had many wonderful friendships and memories from those years. She was also a member of the Webster Baptist Church Choir for many years, she truly enjoyed singing gospel and religious music. She was the best Girl Scout leader, Swim Mom, Church Youth Group Leader and numerous other volunteer positions throughout her life. She is predeceased by her Mother, Dorothy Hutchings Shoemaker and Father George Baker. She is survived by her loving husband Ronald, children Wendy (Bruce), Ronald (Mickey), Timothy (Lisa), Gerald (Wendy), Rebecca (Jack) Inman, Carrie Reeg. Her Grandchildren: Jessica (Jeff) Spaker, Jaime Rotolo. Ross (Meredith) Freida, Lynn (Steve) Quayle. Luke,Reed and Olivia Freida. Jacob (Yamaris), Tanner, Celia Freida. Jack (Megan), Noah (Bekah), Daniel (Grace) Inman and Grace (Daniel) Farrell. Ada and Chloe Reeg. Great Grandchildren: Brady and Beau Freida. Ryan, Cooper, and Adelynn Inman. Todd Inman. Thomas and New Baby Freida in September. Baby Quayle in April. Her sisters, Virginia (Dale) Esse, Betsy (Robbie) Robinson, Tracy Baker. Brothers: Gordy (Mary) Freida, Bruce Baker, Brian (Patty) Baker, Steve Baker, Mark Baker. Beverly also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life in Beverly’s honor will be held at 2:00 PM May 24, 2020 at 3678 East Lake Rd. Canandaigua, NY 14424. All family, friends, and anyone touched by the beauty of Beverly is invited to join in the celebration.
