Obituary of Marjorie J. Mason

West Palm Beach, FL, formerly of Webster: died peacefully on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the age of 82 after a long illness with Alzheimer Disease.

Marge was born on July 5, 1937 to Grace Hubbard McElheny and Kenneth McElheny in Pittsburgh, PA. Upon graduation from Webster High School in 1955, she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Keith Mason, on April 27, 1956.

She first worked as a telephone operator for Rochester Telephone. After raising her family, Marge went back to work in the copy quality group at Xerox Corporation in Webster. She loved their annual family camping trips at Fair Haven Beach State Park. An active member of the United Methodist Church of Webster and Webster Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Predeceased by her husband, Keith; brother, William McElheny; sisters, Lucille Peat and Dorothy Domb; brothers-in-law, Bruce, Fred and Gary Mason. She is survived by her children Cynthia Mason Cain (Michael) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Jeffrey Keith Mason (Cara) of Graham, WA and Cheryl Ann Navarra (Jim), Leland, NC; grandchildren, Christopher Michael Cain (Kim), Andrew Mason Cain (Rachel), Rachel Mason, Jessica Schmidt (Justin), Brian Enck, Kevin Enck (Liz), Allison Enck, Trevor Navarra (Meg), Jessica Keller (Chad), Julie Rodwell (Charles); great-grandchildren, Anna Marie, Avery Mason, Cora, Milo, Maeve, Esme, Keaton, Charles and Enzo; best friend of 71 years, Carol Sloane McCarthy (Jerry), Webster; sisters-in-law, Mary Lou, Ann and Barbara Mason; brother-in-law, Milton B. Mason (Dawn); many beloved nieces and nephews; faithful, beloved furry companion, Mattie Mason.
