Kathy, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember your mom calling you at school from the “most northern city in the United States” just to tell you she was there! She must have been a wonderful woman and mom. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mary Alice was a kind and loving person who always made you feel welcomed and cared about. She invited my children and I over to go swimming on those hot summer days. Joe, Mary Alice and I picked cherries from their trees. I made my first pie, using her recipe, and it turned out amazing! Her smile brightened your day! She will be greatly missed.
