Obituary of Jo-Ann M. Hill

Jo-Ann Marie Hill, 84, passed away on January 2, 2020 in Rochester, NY. Jo-Ann was born in Pinconning, Michigan to Homer and Helen Bishop on August 28, 1935. She worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for many years. She was involved in volunteer work at Advent House and as a Mercy Associate. Jo-Ann is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Helen Bishop and Margaret Guilbault. She is survived by her sons Timothy(Margaret), Robin(Elaine), Jeffrey(Shelly) and Michael Hill, her brothers Eugene(Bertha) and Paul Bishop, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 18th at 10am, at St. Ann’s Community Chapel, 1500 Portland Avenue, Rochester, NY. Funeral services and burial will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Pinconning, MI at the family’s convenience.
