Obituary of Roberta Frances White Jacobs
Webster: November 25, 2019. She leaves her children, Michelle Batiste and Wayne Jacobs; grandchildren, Tyler and Brandon; sister, Marcia Romero, who was a schoolteacher teaching Spanish for over 30 years and their father worked at Gleason works for over 35 years; and nieces.
Roberta was raised as a foster child and was eventually adopted by Wes and Sadie White. She grew up on Gordon Park in the Village of Webster, and graduated from Webster High School in 1963, after which she continued to Beauty School. She worked as a hairdresser for several years and then was a deli clerk at Wegmans for over 20 years, from where she retired. Roberta was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was devoted to her family and passed on strong family values, and always tried to create a loving and peaceful home.
Roberta’s Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 14, and Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 510 Helendale Road, Rochester, NY 14609.
