Obituary of Walter H. Werther

Webster:  Wednesday, August 21, 2019. With family just before his 91^st birthday, Walt went home to be with his Lord and Savior.  He is survived by his wife and soulmate of 69 years, Betty; their sons William (Katherine), David (Susan), and Bruce (Luan), 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Walt grew up in Irondequoit and graduated from RIT.  He worked at Xerox for 38 years and was the first Operations Manager of Building 200 in Webster.  He and Betty, avid birders, traveled extensively visiting all 50 states and several foreign countries.

A heart felt thank you to the compassionate staff at the Maplewood Nursing Home who became his extended family.

A Service of Remembrance will be held Saturday, September 14 at 10:30 AM at Hope Church, 1301 Vintage Lane, Greece.  Private interment will be at White Haven Memorial Park.
