Obituary of Ruth Y. Langkamp

Webster: On Friday June 28, 2019, age 96.  Predeceased by her husband, Richard B. Langkamp, Sr.  She leaves her children, Kathy (Steven) Bentley, Diane (Mark McManus) Langkamp, Richard B. (Cynthia) Langkamp Jr., Carol Langkamp; grandchildren, Andrew (Allison), Christine, Austin, Peter, Alexander & Matthew; 3 great-grandchildren, Anderson, Adelle and Archer; nieces & nephews.  Ruth was a longtime member of Covenant United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and was active in the United Methodist Women.  She was a former member of West Webster United Methodist Church.  Ruth received her B.S. degree in Nutrition from Carnegie Institute of Technology (now Carnegie Mellon University).  She enjoyed cooking and baking and was considered one of the best pie-makers in the area. 

     Friends may call 6-8 PM Monday, July 1 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster.  Memorial Service 3 PM Tuesday, July 2 at Covenant United Methodist Church, 1124 Culver Rd. Rochester, NY 14609.  Interment at Jefferson M.E. Cemetery, Jefferson Hills, PA. 

     Graveside service of committal will be held Monday, July 8 at 1 PM.
