Obituary of George M. Heissenberger, Sr.

Webster, Formerly of Buffalo: Tuesday, May 7, 2019, age 93. Predeceased by his wife, Betty; daughter, Gail Ann; sister, Sylvia Heissenberger. He leaves his children, Karen Hill and George (Peggi) Heissenberger; grandchildren, Erika Hill, Greta (Michael) Heissenberger-DeRan, Glenn (Laura) Heissenberger; great-grandchildren, Charlotte DeRan; nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his aide, Culver Dygert.

          George was a member of the 84^th Infantry “Railsplitters,” and a veteran of the Battle of the Bulge. He worked at Stromberg Carlson, General Dynamics, and Gleason’s, where he retired. George was born in Buffalo, and was a member of the Webster Masonic Lodge, the German-American Federation, Schwaben Verein, and the United Methodist Church of Webster
