Obituary of Richard Phillip Mangus

Webster:  On Wednesday, March 20, 2019, age 85.  Predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Joyce; brother, Paul “Mouse”.  He leaves his sons, Tim (Shirley) and Matt (Michele); grandchildren, John, Alexandra, Ty and Mardi.  Dick “Howie” was a lifelong motor sports enthusiast of NASCAR Modified’s.  His proudest accomplishments were his 1959 Oswego International Classic win as a car owner followed by his son Tim’s 2001 International Race of Champions win.

          A special thank you to Jeff Darrell and West Webster Fire Dept first responders for their actions and support during Dick’s time of need.

          Friends are invited to his Memorial Service 2:00 PM Sunday, March 24^th at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster.  Memorials may be directed to West Webster Firemen’s Association or the Wounded Warrior Project.
