Dick was passionate about everything he did. He engaged. He gave of himself fully in addressing the messy and sticky issues, coming up with wonderful solutions that he championed, assuming the risk of being wrong, which he rarely was. He was always one step ahead of everyone else, driven by his desire to help to achieve success. He was a delight to work with, and a joy to his fellow team members. I will always cherish my memories of his participation at sunrise meetings. He was great.
