Obituary of Mildred Hannah Nystrom
Webster: Sunday, January 27, 2019, age 95. Predeceased by her husband, Olof. She leaves her children, Peter (Lynda) and Elizabeth (Jerrett) Allen; grandchildren, Kristofer (Stephanie), Erik (Krista), Elisa Hale, Steig Hale, Kjersten Romand, Gareth Allen; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Jonas, Logan, Noah, Carolina, Aydriana, Cooper & Caleb; nieces & nephews.
Mildred graduated with a BA degree from Folkhogskolan (Folk Art School). She was an exceptional knitter, weaver and extraordinary seamstress. Her only creative shortcoming was her culinary skills which in turn created two exemplary cooks. What she lacked on the stove, her baking was amazing. She treasured her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to her Memorial Service 1:00 PM Thursday, Jan. 31st at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church, 813 Bay Rd. Webster, NY 14580. Memorials may be directed to the church.
