I was sorry to hear of Mrs. Cottrell's passing. I always looked forward to Mrs. Cottrell coming into my parents place of business. She was always smiling and bubbly, brightened everyone's day.
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Cottrell will always hold a special place in my heart. She was always there for me and my brother in probably the worst time of our lives. No one will ever replace the amazing memories I have with her. The stories she would tell me about my mom and bringing fired chicken down to my dad's. She was always a wonderful person to me and mine. To her family, I am so sorry for your loss but I know she will always be with you as my mom is with me ..... Love you always

God has gotten his right hand! Apparently Hattie has finished all her chores here with us & so has been called home. I'm so very glad for her. Heaven will be a much better place now, & Brenda deserves some company.
My condolences to her children. Your Mom was loved & appreciated by all who knew her. Willie was a dear, but Hattie was the best. We enjoyed watching you kids grow up to be wonderful extensions of your parents. They were proud.
I have many fond memories of visits with Hattie & of course, they all involve food. It was like her signature!

Such a lovely woman and neighbor. Made me feel so welcome when I moved into the neighborhood and we met walking our dogs. She will be missed. My condolences to the family.

Grandma Hattie will be deeply missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May Gods love blanket you in comfort as your angel watches over you now. I will always remember grandmas smiled waving to everyone driving by. She was loved by so many and brightened so many lives. I loved living next to you for those many years. Gram and I had some crazy outings and adventures. Remember the time we burned down the shed and we sat out back with our hoses the only water to put it out. Every time I bake an apple pie I think if her because of the pies we made together. Another thought was strawberry picking every year then with our little miss when she was old enough. Lillie loved picking strawberries with her. She will be missed and always missed.
