My deepest sympathy goes out to all of Bob's family especially his mom Suzanne....and his wife Dawn and children. I have wonderful memories of him as a fellow classmate and first boyfriend . We had so much fun in high school performing in musicals... being in chorus and going to proms. Always a gentleman with a sense of humor and a good friend ..all of us who knew him will miss him. Prayers to all of you in his family to comfort you in your loss. Sandra Gould Wormwood

So sad to hear of Bobs passing. One of my best buds for 6 years in Carthage Central. Swim team, stage productions, chorus and on and on. Truthfully, I've been missing him since 1970. Love, strength and peace to all. Dave

Rob was invaluable in getting me settled in the Webster Presbyterian choir, and always added life to the back row!
He was also key to our daughter's enthusiastic participation in handbell choir.

I grew up knowing Bob from school and visiting the family cottage on Pleasant Lake. His father was my doctor growing up and delivered my two sons, Bob tried to teach me waterskiing to no avail. Haven't seen Bob in years but still have good memories of him and the family.

We send our sincere sympathy to all of Rob’s family. We are your Missouri cousins. I haven’t seen Rob since childhood but have participated in praying for him along with his family. When you pray for someone God draws them close to your heart. We feel so sad, but at the same time we feel a peace that Rob is not suffering. Sending you far away cousins heartfelt hugs!! Rob was a great man. What I remember most is his essential decency. After Jerry died Rob showed up at the house with great kindness and willingness to help me move some things that were impossible to wrangle alone, deliver some things that I was donating to a friend but had no way to transport. Lots of people say "Oh, let me know if you need anything." Rob actually meant it. I also remember with great joy Rob and Dawn's trip to Panama. I only invite people I think will respond to that experience without judgment, with an openness to the strength of family that transcends the very evident poverty. Rob and Dawn come from that place of strong family values, and have the grace to see those values in others who are part of a very different culture. What a good and decent soul Rob brought to the world, and I trust that he is now at peace. Blessings on him, and my sympathy and compassion to all of you who love him. Pam Klainer
