Obituary of Richard Stanley Wrobleski

Webster:  After a courageous battle with cancer, Richard passed peacefully on July 12, 2018, age 79, surrounded by his family.  He leaves his beloved wife of 55 years, Sue; children, Jeff (Shelly) and Chris (Brian) Ackerson;  grandchildren, Morgan and Preston Wrobleski and Alex, Zach and Olivia Ackerson;  sister, Jean Jones; nieces and nephews. Richard graduated from Purdue University and began his career at Hamilton Standard in CT working on the Apollo 13 space mission. He and his family moved to Webster, NY where he continued his career at Xerox and retired after 30 years of service.  Richard cherished his time with his children, grandchildren and friends. He was an active member of the Webster Presbyterian Church and also enjoyed volunteering and community service.  The family would like to thank the medical team, staff and volunteers at Wilmot Cancer Center for their loving and professional care.

Family and friends are invited to his Memorial Service 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 21 at Webster Presbyterian Church, 550 Webster Rd., Webster.  Interment, Webster Union Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to Wilmot Cancer Institute or the Webster Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.  Willard H.
