Obituary of Carol J. Koerper

Rochester: Died Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at the age of 81, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband, James; granddaughter, Bayley. She leaves her 2 daughters, Koleen (Michael) VanLeeuwen, Kathleen (Barden) Gerace; grandchildren, Amelia (Ethan) Nicodemus, Emile VanLeeuwen, Ellie VanLeeuwen, Lydia VanLeeuwen, Eliott VanLeeuwen, Colby Gerace, Wesley Gerace, and Lilly Gerace. Carol enjoyed to travel, shop, and loved her grandkids. She had worked as an airline stewardess, teacher, school bus driver, and real estate agent. Though born in Penn Yan, Carol and her family moved to Rochester when she was 5 years old, when her father got a job at Kodak.

Friends are invited to her Memorial Service 11:00 AM Monday, June 25, at Living Word Assembly of God, 2344 Ridge Road, Ontario, 14519. Memorials in Carol’s memory may be directed to Living Word’s Mission Fund.
