Obituary of Kenneth William Algier
Webster: Born in Rochester, NY on 9/1/43, peacefully went to be with the lord on 6/14/18 in Harrisburg, Pa. Predeceased by his first wife, Marcia, brothers-in-law, Richard Hayes and David Moneypenny.
Survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Barbara; son, Kevin (Amy) Algier; stepson, Scott (Bonnie Crouse) Eckert; six loving grandchildren, Collyn, Drew, Melina and Daria Algier, Caleb and Megan Eckert; sister, Barbara Hayes; brother, Gary Algier; sisters-in-law, June (Paul) DiClementine and Susan Moneypenny; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends and his beloved dog Molly.
After graduation Ken joined the military and served his country as a Navy SeaBee. After his return home he went to work at The Gleason Works where he retired after 33 years. He loved his family, camping, golf and wood carving.
Friends may call 4-8 PM Thursday June 21st at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave. Webster where his Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 22nd. Interment with Military Honors immediately following at White Haven Memorial Park. Donations in his memory can be made to The American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
