Webster: Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 9, 2018, age 87.  Sylvia, predeceased by her husband, Granville B. Chambers, is survived by her son Aaron (Dianne) and daughters Sharon (Philippe), Joyce, Jeannette and Laura, nine grandchildren, one brother and three sisters, and many other family members.

Sylvia was a long-time member of the Webster Baptist Church, where she served as Music Director for 40 years. She was an accomplished musician and conductor.

Sylvia was a devoted mother, wife and friend, and loved by all. Her grace, joy and optimism touched all who knew her. She will be sorely missed.

No prior visitation. A Memorial Service, with reception to follow, will be held August 18, 2018, 2:00 p.m., at Webster Baptist Church, 59 South Ave., Webster, NY, 14580. Donations may be made to Webster Baptist Church Organ Fund-Sylvia Chambers.
