Webster: Our beloved mother completed her 94 year journey on earth, on April 6, 2018. Waiting to greet her in her heavenly home are, her parents, Philip & Julia (Heier) DeFranco; brothers, Philip “Duke” & Joseph DeFranco; 1st husband and father of her children, Vernon G. Howe and 2nd husband, Marvin “Scotty” Scott; and daughter-in-law, Dawn E Howe. Continuing her legacy on earth, her children, Carolee (David) Morland, Duane (Mary) Howe, Dale Howe (Jeannette Koster); step-son Stuart Scott; grandchildren, Steven Morland, Kari (Rob) Steinmetz, Traci Morland (Scott Marcella); Mark Howe, Jamie (Ray) Smith, Jennifer (Chris) Hardee; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; sister, Joanne Mitchell; special niece and God-daughter, Lynne DeFranco Brill; and other loving family.
Friends are invited to her Memorial Mass Friday, April 27 at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Rd. Webster. Interment at Holy Trinity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Maplewood Nursing Home Employee Benefits Fund 100 Daniel Drive, Webster, NY, 14580 or Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd. Fairport, NY 14450.
The family would like to thank the staff at Maplewood Nursing Home for the loving care provided to Carolyn.
