Obituary of Rose D. Maxwell
Webster: Saturday, March 10, 2018 at age 86. Predeceased by mother, Alfonsina Rufrano Dolce; father, Antonio Dolce; sisters, Tina DiPippo and Amelia Iannuccillo. Rose is survived by her devoted husband, Vincent M. Maxwell; children, Jared, Martha, Patrick(Maryellen), and Gerard Maxwell, Deborah(Craig)Housel, and Kathleen(Michael)Stachowicz; grandchildren, Vincent and Mason Sigelow, Nicole Housel, Natalie Manfredi, and Samuel(Rachel)Maxwell; brother, Anthony(Theresa)Dolce; many relatives and friends.
Rose was a loving wife and mother, doting grandmother, lifetime teacher, wisdom woman, patron of the arts, lover of wildlife, endless seeker of knowledge, world traveler, brilliant conversationalist and much more. She was an example of strength, fearlessness, independence, kindness and generosity to all who knew her.
Celebration of life Mass will be held Saturday, March 24, 10:00am, at the chapel of St. Ann’s at Cherry Ridge, 900 Cherry Ridge Blvd, Webster, NY 14580. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: The Memorial Art Gallery, 500 University Ave., Rochester, NY 14607. (585) 276-8900.
