Obituary of Evelyn L. Feil

Webster: Friday, March 9, 2018, age 96.  Predeceased by her husband and best friend of 68 years, Donald Feil; brother, Ronald Sutorius.  She leaves her children, Donna (Jerry) Webster, William Feil; 3 grandchildren, Crystal (Bill) Hutchings, Matthew (Jennifer) Feil and Jennifer Clark; 3 great-grandchildren, Chandler Hutchings, Landon Feil and Owen Donald Feil; sister, Dorothy Woodward; sister-in-law, Evelyn Sutorius; nieces & nephews.

          Evie and Don were married on September 18, 1943, at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Webster, and they moved into their Sherwood Avenue home in 1951. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Mother’s Club, and the Christian Homebuilder’s Class at the United Methodist Church in Webster. Evie worked at Webster Dairy, and still found time to help build a camp in Altmar, NY. She loved to garden, cook, and host parties at her home, and was an avid lover of the outdoors, camping with friends and snowmobiling well into her 80’s.

          Friends may call 10 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturday, March 17^th at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster where her Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 12:30 PM.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family at Webster Rural Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to United Methodist Church of Webster, 169 E. Main St. Webster, NY 14580.
