I was so surprised to see Carols picture. As I was growing up, I would always see Gene and Carol at all the doings that the Nabers had. The Klem family and The Naber families were always there. I can remember asking my Uncle Ken Naber who was who. I am still confused. So many Klems. She wrote so many nice articles for my family and she certainly deserves the same. She was one beautiful lady inside and out. She touched so many lives and will always be remembered.

I am so sorry to be away at this time and therefore unable to help Carol's family with her funeral. She will always be remembered as a witty and gracious lady, a hard-working journalist, and an important part of the social fabric that holds Webster together.

I can’t begin to imagine how many people Mrs. Klem has inspired, made laugh (hysterically), written about, and loved. She truly was one in a million. Mrs. Klem was always so good to my family and we all loved her. I feel blessed that she was a part of my life and I will miss her terribly. Much love to all.

At 22 I worked as a reporter at the Webster Post alongside Carol who at 30-plus years my senior had more energy, wit and wisdom than anyone I had encountered. She made every day a joy and filled the office with humor, song and vitality. She taught me so much and was truly one of a kind. For 20 years now she has been my friend and someone whom I admire deeply. I am so honored to have known her. Carol’s loss is unimaginable. Carol represents everything good about Webster and her legacy lives on in the family she loved so fiercely. God bless Carol and all those she loved.
