Obituary of Ralph Joseph Bodensteiner

Webster:  Sunday, January 21, 2018, age 96.  Predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Velma; sister, Rita Zimmer; sons-in-law, James McDonnell and Gary Corliss; grandchildren, Mary Kate and Thomas McDonnell.  He leaves 7 children, Brian (Jacqui), Mary Joan Bodensteiner, Carol Corliss, Thomas (Linda), John (Teri), Richard (Roger Vickery) and Diane (Peter) Holdaway; grandchildren, James (Ashley) McDonnell, Marisa (Dan) Marmion, Braden and Laurel Bodensteiner, Ryan Hersh, Kristin and Miranda Holdaway; great-grandson, Danny Marmion.

     Ralph was a man of many talents and wide-ranging interests.  He nurtured many lifelong friendships.  By his example, Ralph taught the importance of integrity, decency and service, both in home and in his public life.  Ralph’s family and friends extend their gratitude to the dedicated staff at St. John’s Home, who cared for Ralph with much kindness during the past several months.

     Friends are invited to his Memorial Mass 10:00 AM Saturday, Jan. 27^th at St. Paul’s Church, 783 Hard Rd., Webster, NY 14580.  As Ralph and Velma were founding members of St. Paul’s Church, please direct memorials to the Church.
