I called her Mrs. Hollands (and sometimes Fran when I was feeling rebellious ). She was my teacher for several years. She ran a program at Hillside Children's Center that placed 16 to 18 year old kids at a variety of local businesses for part time jobs paid for with a grant. I was fortunate enough to be one of her students and participated in the program. She took us to open bank accounts and taught us how to manage money (among other things). I have remembered her advice all of my life. She was a tireless advocate for troubled kids like me. And cutting edge. We had McIntosh Computers in our class in 1980. I will never forget her. My condolences to the family. What a woman!
