Uncle Earl loved to drive and loved to get a new car as much as my dad did. I think they got new ones every couple years in the latter years of their lives. My favorite memory of Uncle Earl was driving golf balls in the back of our yard at Woodard Road in Webster in the 1960's. Everyone liked to hit them out in the field but nobody wanted to retrieve them. So it was usually up to me but when we had parties Uncle Earl always wanted to go out with me to fetch the balls. We also had lots of fun at his cottage. I liked to throw a rubber ball against the chimney and catch it but was always getting yelled at to stop because they could feel the vibrations inside. Earl Motzer will be missed by all. Rest in peace.

My brother Neil and I send our condolences to you Barb and Deb. We reminisced by phone this evening after getting the call from Kathy Heberle and Bill Katerle. It was kind of them to call me. May you take solace in knowing that your Dad was a real gentleman, and a nice, kind, helpful person. You had him with you for a very long time as we did with our Dad. I'm sorry I can't be there at the service tomorrow, but you will be in my thoughts. We'll look after the gravesite when we go to tend to our Dad's and Mom's. We know he was very faithful in keeping their stone looking nice.

barb, debbie and family- so sorry to hear about uncle earls passing. i'm sure he will be missed by all his family and friends.i have alot of good memories of him and aunt helen. some of them are when he had the marina but most of them are from the cottage. the thing i remember the most about him was he could never sit still very long-even after eating. he always had to be doing something.he was a very clever man who could figure anything out.he was also a very good cook.last time we saw him he gave us some soup and a peanutbutter pie. will miss him--guy and kathy heberle

Dear Motzer Family,
I'm Henry and Ida Neuberts son, have since relocated to Southern California.
I remember very fondly the many times my Dad and I spent with Earl. We hunted and fished together often. Some of my favorite times growing up were at the Thousand Islands with Earl and Helen.
I last spent time with Earl when my Dad passed away in 1974 - he was my fathers closest lifelong friend since childhood. He shared family stories and how much love and support he had. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
