Obituary of James P. Finn
Finn, James P.
Las Vegas: Aug. 12, 2015. James Powell Finn was born on April 24, 1948 in Rochester, NY. He was the first of two children born to Edward & Helen Finn. He had an illustrious and distinguished career in Computer Security with companies including IBM, Unisys and Mercury Consulting that took him to 38 countries. Jim was an avid reader that collected tens of thousands of books in his collection. He enjoyed nightly visits to the bookstore. His true passion was the space program and its astronauts who he considered true American heroes. He was honored to meet all of the living Apollo astronauts. He traveled to airshows and museums across the country. He was a very fond of following the New York Yankees. He is survived by his sister Barbara Salter, his 3 children Sean, Neil, Dawn. In addition his daughter-in-law, Jennifer and his 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also many dear friends who will greatly miss him and love him always. He lived his life under the motto "I did it my way".
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Friday, Aug. 28th at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Rd, Webster. Interment Holy Trinity Cemetery.
