I only heard of Bob's passing yesterday, from a mutual friend. He was a nice man, very friendly. I'm so sorry to hear he's gone. Too young.

I was so sorry to hear about Bob - our condolences go out to the whole family. I haven't seen Bob in quite a few years but as with others always assumed that there was plenty of time and we would get together again. Regret not getting up to see him on our trips to the Finger Lakes. Bob had a great sense of humor and I could use a dose now. Best memories go back to the 60's when he and I spent summer weeks together with our grandparent's. In addition to hikes, fishing & camping on Coopers Farm - we got into trouble around the house. One time Bob found an old chemistry set in the attic and we shot a column of some sort of "reaction" onto the kitchen ceiling. There was also staying up drinking coffee on rare occasions when we weren't forced to drink postum and listening to the news at midnight on the radio at the kitchen table - hoping that Pop Pop wouldn't look up and see the stains on the kitchen ceiling. Well - that is my version of the story and I'm sure that Bob is smiling!!

Bob, I just spoke with you a week ago. I did enjoy running into you and Fred in the Park on my daily walk with my dog. I and the other dog walkers will miss you in the Park. You were a friendly engaging guy, and I always looked forward to meeting up with you and Fred.
You will be remembered. Tim and I were just talking about you yesterday.
I will think of you as I walk my dog.

I was stunned. You always think there's tomorrow. time passes much to quickly. I'll always remember all those time we went to the Manheim auto auction and the Carlisle auto festival. Your smile and sense of humor will be missed ! RIP. John+Diane

Dear Brumbaugh Family: I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that has brought me comfort when I have lost loved ones. It is found in the Bible at John 6:40 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will comfort your family also.

Bob in his beloved 65 Mustang called "Poppy". Bob was a college classmate, fellow car enthusiast, and good friend. My wife Susan and I will miss hearing his dry humor and seeing that wry smile.
