Tom and I are very lucky to have shared some wonderful times and memories with the Tuttle family. When I saw the picture of Jack in uniform, I couldn't believe how much Donny looks like him! I never saw the likeness before. We will always remember Jack as a very sweet and loving man---a man whose wife and family and country meant more to him than anything else. The world would be a better place with more Jack Tuttles in it and it WAS a better place for his having been here. Although you will miss him and mourn his passing, rejoice in the extremely long life (and healthy until the last year or so) he had and the love he always was surrounded by in his life. None of us can wish for more than that. Tom and I are so sorry that we are going to miss his service. Please know that all of you are in our hearts and prayers at this difficult time. We love you all. Sue and Tom

i'm sorry for your loss. if my dad didn't know him, he will above. he also served at the battle of the bulge in the 28th division. he never shared his war experiences. it wasn't til long after he passed, my brother-in-law began a site about herkinburg forest & the battle of the bulge. my dad was historian for his division. details are not what we read in history books or saw in movies. jack, like my dad may never have shared about that horrific battle. jack wasn't just a soldier, he was a hero.

We met Jack when our son John joined Boy Scout Troop 112 in the late 1980’s. He was very interested in the advancement of each and every boy in the troop. He was a super guy and will be sorely missed by his family, his Troop 112 family and his many friends. May he rest in peace.
