i'm sorry for your loss. if my dad didn't know him, he will above. he also served at the battle of the bulge in the 28th division. he never shared his war experiences. it wasn't til long after he passed, my brother-in-law began a site about herkinburg forest & the battle of the bulge. my dad was historian for his division. details are not what we read in history books or saw in movies. jack, like my dad may never have shared about that horrific battle. jack wasn't just a soldier, he was a hero.
