I have been a friend of the family for many years. I have memories of Mrs. Brunette too numerous to recount. However, the one that will always stick with me was when she told me about her discussion with the dealer that sold her the T-top Trans Am. He kept describing the many features. She just wanted to know "is it fast?"
Rest in peace, Mrs. Brunette. You've fought a long, hard battle with dignity. You will be missed.

What a reunion Elaine, Bud, Juliette, Rene and Bob are having in their heavenly home. I have so much love for this family and so many fond memories. Miles may have separated us but we were always family in our hearts. I love all of you and I will miss my special sister in law so much. Elaine was a second mother to Adam, a second mother to Rene. Her and Rene were so close in their younger years and without her I would have never learned to cook. I did know how to fry potatoes and we use to laugh at the fact that was about all I knew how to do. I tried making meatballs (before she gave me cooking lessons) and when you tried to cut into them they bounced off your plate. We had many good laughs over that. Poor Bud ate them anyway and just raved about how good they were. The love Elaine had for Armand is priceless. The love for her children was a love that only a mother can have for her children. What a blessing she was to this world. We love you all, Carole, Adam, Randy

Mr. Brunette, Mike, Vicky and Lisa - my thoughts are with you all at this very sad time. The loss of someone that is so dear to your heart, especially a loving wife and an amazing mother, is one that we as humans can't ever truly be prepared for. But, what I have to come to know about the Brunette "clan" is that you are a remarkable family who is always there for each other - - in good times and in difficult ones. Although I know that there will be some very sad times ahead while you grieve your extraordinary loss, the laughs and joyful memories that you all shared with your lovely Elaine over the years won't be far behind! My deepest love and sympathy. Lisa Piecki

My deepest sympathies are offered to you, Vicki, and your family. Your beloved mother sounds like she was an exciting mix of fun and elegance with sports' teams and interior design as interests. What a terrible sadness this is and at the same time a joyful time of celebration of her life with Christ and no longer bound by a physical body that was so tired. My prayers go out to you all and God's strength, comfort and peace be yours as you and your family mourn your most beloved Elaine.
