Welch, Hazel E. (Hosier) Webster: Wed., Feb. 4, 2015, age 93. Predeceased by her husband, Norbert; sons, Gerald and Thomas; son-in-law, Terrence Ludwig. She leaves her children, Virginia Ludwig, Janet (Robert) Genthner, John (Beth), and Patricia (Roy) Bortle; daughter-in-law, Sue Welch; 11 grandchildren, Patrick (Marie) and Joanne Ludwig, Mary Kay and Mark (Ali) Genthner, Carolyn (Raam Jani), Ben (Linda) and Tim Welch, Kristin (Rob) Fenton, Kimberly and Daniel (Lauren) Bortle, Jinny Welch; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Michael (Jean) Hosier; sister-in-law, Mildred Hosier; nieces and nephews including special niece, Shirley Sousa. Hazel and her husband Norbert, owned and operated Welch's Greenhouses, until their retirement in 1980. She was a lifetime parishioner of Holy Trinity Church, Webster. Friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Fri., Feb. 13 at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Rd., Webster. Interment, Holy Trinity Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Church or a charity of choice.
