Obituary of Sophie Marie Adamski
Sophie (Grandma Donut) Adamski
Webster: February 3, 1928 to February 3, 2015, age 87. Predeceased by husband, Henry; daughter, Mary; grandson, Richard Matthew Thomas. Survived by daughter, Susan (Rick) Jurjens; granddaughters, Danielle (Ryan) Kader, Heather Thomas (Tony Zucco) and Kristin Thomas (Bill Lawton); great-grandchildren, Sullivan and Hudson Kader, William, Mackenzie, Collin and Sammie Lawton; brothers, Richard Kamienski and Leo (Carol) Kamienski; several nieces and nephews; former son-in-law, Dick Thomas.
Sophie dedicated her whole life to her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, thoughtfulness, humor and love of life. She was loved by all and will be missed by many. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Mysore Seetharaman for his kindness and compassion. Sophie referred to him as "my love" and looked forward to and cherished his visits. Also, a special thank you to the nurses and volunteers at Webster Comfort Home who were so kind and helpful and allowed Sophie's final journey to be filled with dignity and love.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:15 AM, Saturday at St. Rita's Church, 1008 Maple Dr., Webster. Memorials may be directed to Webster Comfort Home 700 Holt Rd., Webster NY 14580.
