To the FAMILY OF ROBERT SCHLAFFER: I am very sorry to learn of Robert's passing. He was a fine classmate of mine at No. 11 School on Webster Avenue. I do recall he worked at the family SCHLAFFER'S Meat Market at the corner of Bay and Iroquois Streets. Bob was a very friendly and gentle person. One whose comany I always enjoyed, especially at Hallowee time. We enjoy a happy, peaceful youth in those days. May God rest hs soul and bless all of Bob's family whom, I am SURE, he greatly loved and cared for with great devotion. We had the right upbringing in our 18th ward neighborhood.
