Obituary of Geraldine Ina Shannon
Webster: November 9, 2014, at age 97. Predeceased by husbands, Clarence Scroger and James Shannon; sister and brother-in-law, Pat and John Muskopf; brother and sister-in-law, Bud and Irma Prather; sons-in-law, Don Benedict, Carm Infantino and Charlie Munger; step-children, Bill, May and Danny Shannon. Survived by daughter, Sandra Benedict; sons, Charles "Skip" (Kathy) Scroger and Thomas (Judy) Scroger; step-daughters, Rita Infantino, and Veronica Munger; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; 2 nieces, 5 nephews and a large extended family.
Gerry's family wishes to thank the kind, loving staff at The Episcopal Church Home for the wonderful care Mom received for nearly three years. She loved and enjoyed her family, friends, church friends, and caregivers. She will be remembered for her beautiful blue eyes, artistic abilities in floral design and oil painting. She belonged to the Webster Art Club.
A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, November 22 at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. Memorials may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 1130 Webster Rd., Webster, NY 14580 or the Episcopal Church Home, 505 Mount Hope Ave., Rochester, NY 14620.
