Webster: Wed. February 26, 2014, peacefully surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Bill and, their loving son, Bill Jr., siblings Charles, Howard, Mary, Viola (Kurpita). She is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Jack) Reinhardt, Patricia (John) Hope; sons, James (Cindy) and Thomas (Shirley); daughter in law, Lillianne; sister Helen (William) Secen; brothers, Matthew (Theresa) and Joseph (Delores) Lewczyk; numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy loved her 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and made each one feel special. She is survived by a large circle of loving and supportive friends, including the Mercy Associates. Dorothy was a devoted member of St. Rita's Church and over the years ministered to countless people in numerous ways. She was a nurse, accomplished seamstress, card player, jigsaw puzzle fan, and volleyball queen. Dorothy had many talents that she shared with the world. Her capacity for limitless love touched everyone around her. We know that she is now in a place that will bring her peace, comfort and joy. We love you.
Friends may call Friday, 1-3 and 5-8 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, 11:15 AM at St. Rita's Church 1008 Maple Dr., Webster. Spring interment at West Webster Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to St. Rita's School or Sisters of Mercy 1437 Blossom Rd., Rochester NY 14610.
