Porray, Bernard T. "Bernie" Fairport: Monday, February 10, 2014, at age 78. He leaves his wife of 40 years, Kathy; son, Brendan; daughter, Allison (Fernando Caumont); sister, Phyllis (James) Kommer; brother, Lyle (Lori) Porray; Aunts, Lucille VanHall, Darlene Strussenberg; Uncle, Oakley Porrey; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bernie retired from IBM in 1991 and then devoted over ten years as a volunteer ushering with the RPO and delivering Meals on Wheels. A special thank you goes out to the staff at the Jewish Home who took care of Bernie in recent weeks as well as to the Hospice team from Lifetime Care. Their devotion and love have been greatly appreciated by our family. Family and friends may call SATURDAY 1-4 PM at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster where a Time of Remembrance will follow the visitation. Interment in the spring at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm in Bernie's honor.
