Obituary of William Cook
Rochester, formerly of Webster, unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at age 65. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Jason and Jane Cook and stepmother, Marion. He is survived by his siblings, Barbara Cook Hinz and Janet Cook Canary, their spouses, Michael Hinz and Joe Canary, nieces, Carol Hinz, Anne Hinz, Catherine Canary, Hilary Canary, four great nephews, and his best friend, Bill Keeler.
Bill was a graduate of Hartwick College with a BA in Philosophy. He retired from Canfield & Tack in 2012. Bill was an avid reader and sports fan, particularly for the Rochester Rhinos and the Los Angeles Dodgers. He loved spending his summers on Lake Rondaxe in the Adirondacks. Bill was a favorite of his grand nephews.
A gathering of remembrance and burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a charity is being chosen and will be added to this page.
