Donna Mae Hepburn, aged 88, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026 in Rochester, New York.
Donna was predeceased by her parents, Clarence M. and Dorothy Hepburn; and her brother, Clarence M. Hepburn Jr. She is survived by her children, Margaret Van Leuven and David Hepburn Keirsbilck; her grandchildren, Erin Lee Heberle (Van Leuven), Heather Van Leuven, David Keirsbilck, and Abigail Keirsbilck; her beloved great-grandsons, Leland and Edward Heberle; and her sister, Margaret Trevett.
Donna lived a life devoted to education and community service. She earned her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and went on to earn her graduate degree from the State University of New York at Brockport. Not only an accomplished teacher, Donna went on to work as an administrator for BOCES in Suffolk County, where she developed a program to help adolescent mothers earn their high school diploma.
Her commitment to service extended beyond the classroom—she was an active member of Rotary and served as president of the Pittsford Rotary Club, where she fostered community spirit and lasting friendships.
Donna loved to travel, especially in the company of friends, exploring new places and cultures with enthusiasm and curiosity. Her adventurous spirit and unique personality made her a treasured companion and friend to many.
Friends and family are invited to call 9-11 AM Saturday, February 28 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster, where a Celebration of Donna’s life will immediately follow.
