Webster: Tuesday, December 23, 2025, age 96. Born in 1929 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Betty was the only child of Bernard and Thomena “Min” Hogenson Reinhard. After meeting on a blind double date, she married Kenneth Heim in 1948 in Green Bay and shared 70 years of marriage prior to Kenneth’s death in 2018.
Betty had six children: one deceased, David, and five surviving, Kathleen (Ed) McConnell, Gary (Judi), Donald (Patricia), Douglas (Sharon), and Diane (Brian) Olson. She also has 9 grandchildren (spouses) and 12 great-grandchildren.
After spending 17 years of marriage in Wisconsin, the family moved to Webster, NY where Betty continued to dedicate her life to raising her family. After her children left home, Betty entered the workforce and spent 11 years as Parish Secretary at St. Paul’s Church in Webster.
Following retirement, she and Ken spent 25 years wintering in Florida. Betty was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, square dancing, sewing, bridge, puzzles, Jeopardy!, and most importantly, family games during holiday gatherings.
Betty’s Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday, January 17, 2026, at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 783 Hard Rd., Webster, NY 14580, where Betty was a founding member.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Church.
