Webster: Lane Corson, age 77, passed away suddenly Monday, November 24, 2025. He was born in Camden, NJ and graduated from Buffalo State University with a BS in Industrial Engineering. A long-time resident of Webster, Lane was an active member of the local VFW serving as the Vice Commander, Commander and Chaplin; always willing and proud to lend a hand, guide and support his fellow veterans. Lane will be remembered by all as a caring and compassionate friend, but most of all as a proud (best) father and husband who loved to tease, laugh with and celebrate his family.
He is predeceased by his parents, Charles L. and Phyllis Corson; brother, Charles F. Corson. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Paula Cullen; children, MeeNa (Robert) Sazanowicz and Sam Cullen-Corson; granddaughter, Emma Sazanowicz; brother, Robert (Sharon) Corson; and loving in laws, nieces, and nephews.
Friends may call 5-6 PM Wednesday, December 3 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster, where his Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 PM. Burial with Military Honors 11:00 AM Thursday, December 4, at Western NY National Cemetery, Corfu, NY.
