Webster: Friday, October 10, 2025, age 88. Predeceased by her brother, Larry Edwards. She leaves her husband of 67 years, Henry “Hank” Walck; children, Brian (Dawn) Walck and Beth Ann Walck; grandchildren, CJ (Caroline) and Matthew (fiancée, Bridgit Sillman) Walck, Hailey (Ryan Singer) and Phoebe Evans.

     After raising her family, Carol went back to school to finish her bachelor’s degree in business from RIT. She worked for Cornell University and eventually joined the family business Walck-Rikhoff Bookpeddlers.  After moving to Webster in 1994 to be near family, she joined Webster Presbyterian church and served there faithfully in many roles including adult education leader and elder.       She also served for over 20 years as a volunteer at Webster Comfort Care.

Thank you to the staff of Wilmot Cancer Center and Webster Comfort Care Home for their excellent care of Carol.

     A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, November 22 at Webster Presbyterian Church, 550 Webster Rd., Webster, NY 14580. Burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Greencastle, PA at a later date. Donations may be directed to Webster Comfort Care Home, 700 Holt Rd., Webster, NY 14580.
