Webster: Saturday, September 27, 2025, age 85. Predeceased by his parents, Harry and Annabelle King; sisters, Nancy Mura and Deborah Parsons; brother, James King. He leaves his wife of 63 years, Jane; daughter, Rebecca King-Keenan; grandson, Dean Jordan Beck; beloved dogs, Teddie and Elllie; cousin, Marjorie Gillette.

        Richard was a Senior VP of Human Resources at Key Bank, where he worked for 30 years in several locations. A devoted volunteer at the American Red Cross, Dick served on the American Red Cross Disaster Team and the Hurricane Disaster Team/Victim Relief. He also spent 12 weeks at Ground Zero post 9/11 assisting victims’ families and made an appearance on Larry King Live to discuss recovery efforts.

        Friends may call 5-8 PM Monday, October 6 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Red Cross.
