Obituary of Cheryl "Sherry" Klauck

Webster, NY - Cheryl (Sherry) W. Klauck entered her eternal rest on May 6th, 2025, while resting from her labor of love which was weeding and working in her gardens, mowing the lawn, or trimming the hedge. She took immense pride in the appearance of the family house and yard and received many compliments from passersby. When able, she extended her love of working outside to assist other family members in maintaining their yards.

Sherry was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Roberta (Pinkney) Westfall; and son, Daniel. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 54 years, Charles, daughter; Tammy (Jaimie) Hubbard; son, Timothy; grandchildren, Cameron and Hanna Hubbard, and Sophia and Dominic Klauck; and her sister, Sandi Melos (Ron Williams); and brother, Stephen Westfall; along with nephews, nieces, and many friends.

Being a stay-at-home mom, she used her love of children to give foster care to newborn babies and younger children along with babysitting services to several people in the neighborhood. When her children entered middle school, she took her love of infants and young children to Little Windmill Day Care before moving on to Mary Cariola where she worked for almost 20 years as a teacher’s aide in a classroom of special needs children.

Sherry and her husband enjoyed traveling and visiting new places which included China, New Zealand, Australia, Alaska, Spain, Monaco, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Tahiti, Norway, Iceland, and Denmark. They also took motorhome trips throughout the United States including a five-week cross-country tour covering twenty-six states and 10,000 miles.

Private interment at the convenience of the family in Webster Rural Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her son Daniel. Friends are invited to join the family in a celebration of Sherry’s life on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 131 West Main Street, Webster, NY at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or Mary Cariola Children’s Center online at MaryCariola.org.
