Family of “The Dominator”,
Dom’s infectious, yet slightly mischievous smile was what drew me to him when we first met in 2018. I couldn’t help but nickname him the dominator with how successful he was with our students. When our program grew, I knew we needed him moving forward and urged him to become an associate teacher. And when we needed to add a person to a team of 3 insane women, we knew the only person who could handle us was Dom.
Between his lack of knowledge when using his computer and inability to park between two straight lines, he kept me on my toes with teaching and teasing and we ended every day with laughter. He constantly talked about his family and boasted about the amazing things you all have accomplished. It was very clear how much of a family man he was. He truly was one of a kind and his BOCES family will miss him very much. Sending prayers and love ❤️

Dear Pangallo family. I had the pleasure to work with Dom at Monroe One BOCES. Dom was a gift to our students and staff with his wonderful personality and positive energy every single day. He made each day at work a blessing with his aura and most of all, his sense of humor and ability to handle us crazy girls! We have missed him tremendously the past couple years. It’s literally described as a gaping hole. Family, I wish I had words for this loss as Dom reminded me a lot of my Dad who passed in 2016. What gets me through it is knowing that you had a husband and father like no other. And always remember, “it’s better to have loved and lost……than to never have loved”. Thinking of you all during this very difficult time.
