Linda Withall, 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025, after a courageous and prolonged battle with ALS.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, James; daughters, Jennifer (William) Brazener and Kristin Withall (Andrew Campbell); and her cherished grandchildren, Emily and Ethan Brazener. Linda is also remembered by her extended family, including her sister-in-law, Patricia Withall; niece, Cheryl Withall; nephew, Jeffrey (Heather) Withall; and dear cousins, Jill Koehnlein, Sue Matthews, Diane Davis, and Joyce Dokey. Among her lifelong friends, she leaves behind Lona Kennard and her goddaughter, Michelle (Josh) Putnam. Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Linda graduated from East High School in 1964. She and James moved to Webster in 1972, where they made their home. Throughout her career, Linda formed lasting friendships through her work at Macy’s, Beikirch’s, and Monroe Abstract, where she made a positive impact on everyone she encountered.
Linda had a deep love for her family, friends, and pets. She especially enjoyed time spent by the pool, baking and decorating Christmas cookies, attending Rochester Amerks hockey games, and playing card and board games with loved ones. A lover of being by the water, she treasured vacations in Daytona Beach, Wasaga Beach, and North Carolina.
Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 12 noon at Willard H.
