I worked with Alan for several years at the Rochester SSA office before he transferred to Geneva. He always spoke of his family. Thoughts and prayers to you all.

Angela and family, We were so sorry to hear of Alan's passing. We remember his wonderful singing voice in the Sodus United Third Methodist Church Choir. He was a loving husband to Angela and loving father to all his children. It showed in all that he did. He will be greatly missed.
With sincere sympathy, Jim and Sue Gagnon

Angela - I’m so very sorry for your loss. Alan was such a dedicated volunteer at the VA Medical Center for so many years! So many fond memories of both of you spending your time with us and bringing in your grandchildren to help out as well. Alan will be missed.

Dear Angela and entire Bartlow family, my sincere condolences.
I both worked with Alan for may years and sang with him in the ROS for many years, including singing Handel's Messiah on December 12, 2024 with both Angela and Alan.
Alan would often talk about his beloved family, as the children grew up over the years. He was so proud of them.
It was wonderful to see both Angela and Alan at ROS rehearsals this past year. They really enjoyed singing together. Alan was such a pleasant and funny greeter as ROS Registrar Assistant for many years.
Alan will be sorely missed.
May he rest in peace.

On behalf of all current and former members of the ROCHESTER ORATORIO SOCIETY we send condolences to Angela and all the family for the passing of our dear friend Alan who passed away on February 17th. Alan was a bass member of ROS for over 27 years (1998-2024), and served as Registrar Assistant for most of these years and knew members by name and always greeted them with a smile and kind words. Alan's wife, Angela, recently joined the alto section and granddaughter, Katie Kovac, has been a choral scholar in the soprano section for the last three years. We send condolences to Angela, Katie and all the Bartlow family. May our dear friend, Alan, rest in peace.
