Obituary of Terrence Lally

Terrence "Terry" Lally, 69, of Webster, New Yok, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025.  Predeceased by parents, John and Joanne Lally;  brother, Stephen Lally;  sister, Mary Lally.  He leaves his sons, David (Monika) and Michael Lally;  siblings, Kathy (Dick) Corbett, Marty (Betty), Dan (Annette) and Tim (Laureen) Lally;  nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Terry’s life was defined by his unwavering dedication, generosity, and an extraordinary love for his family and community. Born and raised in Weedsport, New York, he graduated from Weedsport Central School in 1973 before pursuing higher education at SUNY Albany, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 1977. Terry eventually settled in Webster, New York, where he would go on to build a wonderful life surrounded by his loved ones.

Terry enjoyed a fulfilling career at Xerox, where he worked with passion and commitment for many years. After retiring, he didn’t slow down; instead, he channeled his energy into serving his community. He was a cherished member of the Webster Senior Center and actively participated in several local organizations, like the Rotary Club and Elks Lodge always eager to give back and make a positive impact.

Above all, Terry was someone who lived life to the fullest. He treasured every moment spent with his family, participated eagerly in local events, and pursued his passions with enthusiasm. His warmth, kindness, and boundless generosity touched countless lives, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, service, and love.

While Terry’s physical presence will be deeply missed, his spirit of joy, kindness, and community will forever live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. We invite you to join us in celebrating his remarkable life and honoring the many ways he made the world a better place.

Friends may call 1-2 PM Sunday, January 19 at Webster Methodist Church 169 E. Main St., Webster, where his Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM.  Interment will take place at Webster Rural Cemetery immediately following the service.    A Celebration of Life at a time to be announced at WillardHScott.com.  Memorials may be directed to Webster Association of Senior Program Supporters, 1350 Chiyoda Dr., Webster, NY 14580.  Willard H.
