Who says you can’t have the last word?

My journey has been complimented with the most helpful, honorable and loving “villagers” anyone has had the good fortune to have.  This “village” of family and a myriad of wonderful, special friends has bolstered my physical, psychological, financial and emotional being for my whole adult life.  I thank them and I will love them far beyond my passing.  I have been one lucky duck.

I am predeceased by my parents: Mother, Jean and father, Calvin (Lodema); mother and father-in-law, Carl and Noreen Prinzing; daughter, Tracy; granddaughter, Elizabeth; sisters-in-law, Nancy MacDonald and her husband, John, Sue Prinzing; nephew, Jared Cushman.

I am survived by my children, Marcy Caleo, Carl Prinzing II (Malinda) and Stephen Prinzing Jr.;  grandchildren, Timothy Kruse (Haley), Alexis Kruse, Donald Caleo Jr. (Danielle), Mia Prinzing, David Prinzing, Alyssa Prinzing, Jason Guck, Alexandra Prinzing, Leah Prinzing (granddaughter and one of my dear children); great-grandchildren, Harrison Lee Kruse, Natalie Quinn Kruse, Bentley Michael Tyler Prinzing and Charlie Joseph Caleo.  My wonderful “much younger” brothers, Danny and Debbie Rickards; Pat and Nan Rickards;  sisters-in-law, Linda Saunders (Dan), Terri Licata (Sam), Elaine Cushman, Debbie Brockman (Wayne); many cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives both by blood and by heart; and my “once upon a time” husband and father of our children, Steve Prinzing.

This door is closing and hoping the next door isn’t fire proof.  In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Lollypop Farm, Humane Society of Greater Rochester or the Monroe County Sheriffs Benevolent Fund.

I’ll be around.
