It’s so hard to share one memory of such a beautiful soul when I have so many. I was blessed to have known and loved Barb for over forty years. We had so many heartfelt and meaningful conversations through the years. I will always remember Barb’s fierce resolve and love determined to single handedly raise her wonderful children to be the best they could be. Her laughter and strong, caring personality will never be matched as she loved her family, the Antonio’s family, and countless other friends and families lucky enough to have crossed her path. Barb touched my heart and the hearts of so many and I know I speak for many when I say “Lord, stand by! You’d better move over!” She will hold her place in my heart always.

I experienced laughter through tears reading this obituary this morning, and I have no doubt that’s exactly how she would have wanted it. My memories of working at Antonio’s and specifically about Barbara have never left me. She was truly one of a kind and one of those handful of people you meet and stay with you for the rest of your days. I talk about those times frequently - sitting at the bar waiting for my mom to pick me up, and talking and laughing with Barbara and her “irregulars” as she called them.
Barbara - you were one of one - and I hope you know now the indelible imprint you left on so many lives that crossed your path. You once left me a goodbye gift at the end of my summer job before going back to school. It said “Thank you for being Christopher” - I still have it. Today I say thank you for being not just one of the best people I ever had the privilege to know, but for simply being Barbara.
Say hello to all those other late greats from those days and know that you held a really special place in all of our hearts. I’ll give Sweet Love by Anita Baker a couple of plays tonight, close my eyes and picture all of you at that great bar in the sky.
God love you Barbara!

Barb had a heart of Gold and was one of my mother's closest friends. I met her brother Pat through work, but it was a few years before I realized they were siblings, lol. But I should have known as both are warm, kind, considerate, and compassionate people. My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family during this difficult time. Rest in peace Barb, you will be missed.

The “Rock” of Antonio’s Restaurant, Barb Prinzing has completed her journey on this earth. She is now reunited with the many from the “Antonio’s Family” as well as her own. I don’t think I have ever known a more kind, caring, genuine person than Barb. She will never be forgotten as a great co worker and friend. With heartfelt sympathy, Marcy, Carl & Steven, may she rest in peace.

I never called her by her name. Or Mrs. I only called her mom. She was my best friends mother. She always included me. She even made sure I had Christmas and Thanksgiving. She was more of a mother to me than my own and best woman I have ever known. I haven't been around these past years and I will regret that for the rest of my life. The world is less without her in it. Hopefully I can see her again one day. Love you mom
