Obituary of Stephaney Chue-Gayle

       Stephaney Gayle, 65, of Rochester, New York, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2024. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, she was predeceased by her beloved parents, Rupert and Esmina.

 

       Stephaney is survived by her husband, Simeon Gayle, Sr.; children Syreeta Dholichand, Simeon Gayle, Jr., Christal Gayle, Shane Gayle, Sr., Nathaniel Riley, Daniel Roache, Sr., Niomi Gibbon, Michael Chue-Roa, Abbie-Gayle Gayle, and Anthoney Roache; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Andrew Dholichand, Brihanna Lindo, Christien Brown-Gayle, Carter Brown, Russhane Lightbourne, Shane Gayle, Jr., Shay Gayle, Shianne Gayle, Khadleel Roache, Daniel Roache, Jr., Cameron Gibbon, and Daisia Gibbon. She also leaves behind her step-children, siblings, numerous extended family members, and her grand-dog, Pepe.

 

       Known for her warmth, strength, and kindness, Stephaney was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family above all. She was also an avid crocheter, a talented cook, and loved taking strolls and dancing. Her passion for life and her creative spirit were evident in everything she did, whether she was whipping up a delicious meal or enjoying a quiet walk. Stephaney’s joy for life, her laughter, and her dedication to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

 

       Friends and family are invited to visit and pay their respects on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster, New York 14580. A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025, also at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

 

        The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for the love, support, and prayers they have received during this difficult time.
